I recently ran into something useful I thought would share here.

A guy in North Carolina got ahold of me because he needed a bunch of formulas for a shared google sheets inventory control solution. Cool, we made the deal and I got it done for him in a day.

The only stumbling block was he was paranoid to use any payment method over the phone, secure messenger or payment service like Zelle, CashApp, PayPal, Venmo or a CC. Well, send me a check right? I did not want to wait for a check or face the ramifications if insufficient.

I told him about what I use when I want to buy something online without connecting any personal information to the recipient or the medium used to share the information. Complete privacy and very safe.

You generate a one time use debit card for a fixed amount that can be used anywhere and it only costs 50 cents! I told him to follow my link and he will get a five dollar credit there towards his first online debit card.

So, he checked it out and… surprisingly he liked it and said: “Where has this been all my life!”

SCENARIO: You want to try a service of some type, like a movie channel, TV provider or subscription to whatever. EVER FORGET TO CANCEL then get billed!? What a PITA right? Well, get one of these cards, for the minimal amount and you are safe!
If you remember to cancel said service, use the card towards something else or as a gift! If you forget to cancel the service, they can only bill you the value of the card! Say, $10.

I HAVE NEVER had an issue spending one of these anywhere. They are real debit cards.
